Trustees

JRCT is governed by a board of voluntary trustees. As well as setting overall strategy, the trustees are involved in grant-making decisions.

There are currently eight trustees. A proportion of our trustees are members of the Religious Society of Friends (also known as Quakers).

All applications and enquiries should be made to the Trust, not to individual trustees.

Committees

Final grant offers exceeding £200,000 are made by the Trust board, but smaller grants and much of the detailed work of the Trust is carried out through grant-making committees including staff and one or more trustees. Committees also co-opt non-trustee members, 'co-optees', who are experts in their field and bring additional expertise and wisdom to our decision making.

Staff

The Trust has a team of about 30 full and part-time members of staff.
