Trustees

JRCT is governed by a board of voluntary trustees. As well as setting overall strategy, the trustees are involved in grant-making decisions.

There are currently nine trustees.  Our trustees are of a wide age range and from a variety of backgrounds. All trustees are members of the Religious Society of Friends (also known as Quakers).

All applications and enquiries should be made to the Trust, not to individual trustees.

Committees

Final grant offers exceeding £200,000 are made by the Trust board, but smaller grants and much of the detailed work of the Trust is carried out through grant-making committees of three or four trustees with a particular interest in the area of work. Committees also co-opt non-trustee members, 'co-optees', who are experts in their field and bring additional expertise and wisdom to our decision making.

Staff

The Trust has a team of 25 full and part-time members of staff.
