St Columb’s Park House is a peace-building centre based in the Waterside of Derry-Londonderry. It hosts a range of outreach projects in the local community.
JRCT provides a grant through its Northern Ireland programme to St Columb’s for the ‘Campaigning Communities’ project. This aims to work at an individual, community and governmental level to give people from marginalised interface communities a voice and power in decisions. By building capacity, resilience and political involvement, it seeks to co-create a model of meaningful citizen engagement that can be replicated in other areas. The work fits within the Trust’s Northern Ireland funding priorities on supporting inclusive, non-sectarian and participatory politics and initiatives which strengthen the voices of marginalised groups in public policy-making.
