Emerald Rose is the Rights and Justice programme assistant. Emerald’s work has focused on forced migration, racial justice, and housing and homelessness. She is guided by equity, community power, and holistic and somatic practices for healing justice. 

Her previous experience comes from Oak Foundation (2027 Programme), Islington Giving, Haringey Migrant Support Centre, and Akwaaba. She has been a grassroots campaigner for Black Lives Matter and the Lifejacket Graveyard Campaign. 

Emerald has a Master’s in Global Refugee Studies, where she used participatory research methods to explore what home means after forced migration from Afghanistan to the UK.
