Danny Firth is a seasoned community organiser and public narrative coach dedicated to growing the leadership and power of ordinary people. He has worked with diverse communities across the UK, from Dalston to Nottingham, on campaigns for social and economic justice – from the Living Wage to tackling debt and poor housing.
Danny has trained and coached hundreds of new leaders in organising, supporting people to take action and win campaigns – from fighting damp and mouldy housing to securing good jobs. He has experience working with young people, electoral campaigns and participatory budgeting. His strength lies in coaching people to recognise their own ability to make change happen.
Prior to setting up We Can Win, Danny held leadership roles in a local authority, the New Economics Foundation, Small Axe Communications and Citizens UK. He is the Founder of the Centre for New Leaders, incubated with Himmah in Nottingham.
