Violeta is JRCT's executive assistant for the reparations programme, working with Keon West. She joins from the Runnymede Trust where she spent two years as programme coordinator for Power to Prosper, a community wealth building initiative delivered in partnership with the New Economics Foundation.
Violeta holds an MA in Migration and Diaspora Studies from SOAS, where her research examined the construction of diasporic identity. She brings a multidisciplinary career spanning primary school teaching in inner-city London and roles supporting multidisciplinary communities of practice at the RSA, the Youth Endowment Fund, and the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association. She is multilingual, speaking English, French, Spanish and Lingala.
