  • Coal Action Network provide advocacy and support for campaigners living in areas of proposed or existing open-cast coal mining.
  • Rethinking Economics work with universities to change the economics curriculum, making it more varied and fit for purpose following the financial crash of 2008. 

Recent projects funded under Beyond Consumerism

  • Upper Space CIC seeks to remove corporate outdoor advertising from public spaces and replace it with community-generated art and imagery.
  • The Restart Project aims to tackle the climate emergency by making electronics work for people,
    for the planet, and for longer. They are working towards a “Right to Repair” in the UK.

Recent projects funded under New Voices

  • Retrofit Balsall Heath is collaborating with Saheli Hub to build capacity for pioneering community-led neighbourhood retrofit in inner city Birmingham.
  • Co-operation Town is a movement of food co-ops that gives neighbours the tools to build collective power and buy affordable food.
