Updated: Closure of grant round to allow development of work at JRCT
5 April 2022
We are closing applications to our August grant round and temporarily pausing some of our work at JRCT as we work to address capacity issues.
As an organisation, we are going through a time of change resulting from recent growth, our response to the pandemic and efforts to confront our colonial history.
These developments raise important questions about our work as a Trust, which we need time to address. The closure of the August grant round will ease workload pressures among the staff team to allow us the time to needed to engage with the change process.
From April we will also need to pause some non-urgent aspects of our work as our chief executive, Celia McKeon, is taking a temporary leave of absence for health reasons. Our senior leadership team will work to collectively manage Trust-wide issues in Celia's absence.
This won’t affect the support we are able to give to our grantees however temporary capacity issues may mean we are slower to respond in some instances.
- Applications will re-open for our November deadline. You can see information on when to apply here.
