Case study

10:10 is a charity which brings people together to help build a lower carbon world. Their positive, practical projects create opportunities for action that are exciting and accessible, showing people not only that solutions to climate change exist, but that they can be a part of them. Working with a broad social and geographical mix, including underrepresented and marginalised groups, 10:10 builds new constituencies for climate action that are equipped with the networks, confidence and skills needed to create resilient communities and influence decision makers.

JRCT makes a contribution towards 10:10’s core costs through the Sustainable Future programme. The work fits with the Trust’s Sustainable Future funding priorities of engaging new voices and encouraging behaviour change in consumption by reducing carbon footprint.
